Towards Carbon Neutrality

The calibration operations, which we carry out in our laboratory or on site at our customers' premises, bring their lots of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Our goal is to reduce our carbon footprint. It is therefore out of concern for climate change that Covariance undertakes to reduce the GHGs of our operations, but also to mitigate the effects of emissions through compensation.

Covariance is therefore happy to participate in the Canadian program

Carbone Boréal - UQAC which we invite you to read about it.

For the next year (2022-2023), we estimate the greenhouse gas emissions that our operations will generate at 56 tonnes of CO2. The compensation is done quarterly, but represents the planting of more than 392 trees annually and can be review at the donor register.

For the period July 2022 - July 2023

the assessment is 56 tonnes of CO2 annually (14 tonnes / quarter)

Compensation : 392 trees in Forestry project

We invite our partners and clients to become aware of climate change and participate in this or any other program to mitigate the effects of our everyday actions.
